So maybe on some sub-conscious level Betty Friedan and Coretta Scott King saw the direction the Supreme Court will be heading and said "That's it, I'm outta here."

Not to cast any slights on the memories of B. Friedan and C.S. King, but note too that "Grandpa" Al Lewis also saw the writing on the wall and chose to get while the getting was still good. The NY Green party has lost a good curmudgeon. And Nick at Nite has lost a great character actor.
