X-mas time again

So just so everyone's on the same page:
Hawaii brother is engaged, wedding in October 2006.
California brother is engaged, high probablitiy of elopement.
Seattle sister and her partner pulled off their first Thanksgiving in their new home. Aside from the turkey taking it's own sweet time to come to temperature, a festive and Thanksgivingly time was had by all.
NYC brother is finding out that a Degree from the French Culinary Inst. and $3 will get you a danish from Starbucks... Apparently despite being a nation of "big boned" people the pastry/chocolatier world is not the booming bubble like the housing market. Which is surprising really, big people more homes more neighborhood more local bakeries right?

ps blogging, like presidenting, is hard work....

It's only hard work if you actually work at it. I still can't believe how much of a pass the press is giving this asshole. OTOH he doesn't stick around to answer questions.

Why are people so suprised that the Pentagon was paying for favorable stories in the Iraq press? The WH was doing it here.

Ruiko is taking me to the Eagles concert tomight. I took her to Lewis Black last Saturday. He was funny but I think a lot of it was lost in translationfor her.

The Eagles? I suppose that playing Honolulu is pretty easy for them, just catch a flight over from the sticks.. I mean Neighbor Islands...
and the beauty of planting false stories overseas is that thanks to the internets it gets back to the Amurikan sheeple as if it were real news and it bypasses those annoying anti-propaganda laws.
